The major event of the year is the very popular Sausalito Arts Festival, it
will be celebrating its 60th+ year and attracts 50,000 visitors. The Festival is held over the
three day
Labor Day Weekend.
The best local, American, and International Artists (+200) bring their
combined perspectives, virtuoso skills, and more than 20,000 original works
of art — including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine
glass, woodwork, mixed media, and photography.
From functional to surreal, witty to the elegantly decorative, these
one-of-a-kind and limited edition Art Works form an unparalleled collection
that can only be seen once a year. Enjoy nonstop entertainment on three

Floating Homes Tour
11am – 4pm
This year around 15 colorful floating homes will open their doors to visitors on the 3rd or last Saturday in September. The self-guided tour takes visitors inside some of the most fun and unique homes in the world. Docents will be on-board to describe the incredible waterfront lifestyle and answer questions.
In addition to the tour there will be free musical entertainment and an Art Show, provided by local musicians and artists on the Kappas Green. Excellent food and drinks will available for purchase.
Ticket prices are $35 for advance purchase and $40 at the door. The tour often sells out so we suggest buying tickets in advance. We welcome everyone to come enjoy this peek into the unique floating home life!

Annual Floating Art Show In Sausalito
Yes, art floats at this fun Sausalito event
on the water. The show normally is held on the last Saturday in April. Sausalito’s
colorful floating homes community will present the eighth annual Artists of
Issaquah free exhibition. Guests will view and purchase a wide variety of
outstanding art while aboard some of these unique, world-famous water homes.
Resident artists from Issaquah Dock will
again be joined by those from Liberty, South Forty, Gate 61/2, West Kappas
and A Docks. They will offer at attractive prices: paintings, photographs,
sculpture, jewelry, mixed media art and turned exotic wood bowls.
The large Sausalito floating homes
community boasts a rich heritage of creative expression and this exciting
event maintains this valuable tradition.
